Origin: The Maghreb, North Africa or southern Europe around the Mediterranean
Source: Koanga Institute: Description: Expect heavy crops of up to 30 delicious artichoke heads per plant Spring and Autumn if well grown. Cut back after each flush of growth. Sowing: Sow Spring Summer and Autumn into 10cm x 10cm pot and transplant when 10cm high at 1m apart in a row or bed. Need free draining soil.
